Tell me again why I’m up at stupid o’clock !

Actually I know why….. It’s Saturday morning and Grandson is in the shower and we have to get him to football in 30 minutes. Granddaughter is attaching herself to the duvet , not wanting to get up. She has to be at dance in a few hours. I love them dearly …..but I love sleep too ….. Do you think I could get away with a quick snooze ! With these two …….no chance !

I hope your daughter expresses her gratitude towards you and the Mister. If not, direct her my way. I got about an hour of sleep last night, and I hope I can stay awake for my doctor appointment today. I bet you sleep good tonight!

If you already KNOW why you're awake at stupid-o'clock, then why are you asking us? Are you hoping one of us can give you good advice, like telling them grandma is OLD and wants to go back to bed when their stuff is done?. Surely they can entertain themselves while old people take a nap later?

They can’t entertain themselves ….they go into a blind panic when the internet goes down ! Left on their own, one would probably get killed …..and it might be my favourite one, so I’ve got to be on Nanny watch ! lol

@Traceyjayne I would just tell one of them to leave enough of the other that I have something to return to their mom so she didn't think I kidnapped one of them. Then I'd take a nap if that's what I felt like doing.
