Good morning 4/25

Friend came down here yesterday to take me to my fave grocery outlet in the mountains. I could have driven, but my car overuses gas, and I get concerned about it and a couple of other things on long trips. Anyway, He is going to hustle back this morning, as we are expecting quite a bit of welcome rain here. With luck he should be able to make it all the way back without getting wet. He has a cold, which I hope I don't end up getting. I gave him elderberry for his immune system and zinc to shorten the duration of his cold. He had had the cold for a few days, so he might not be that contagious now...so far so good. Off to a yard sale this AM before the rain,Have a great day!

Can you believe it is just 8 months until Christmas?
I know, I know, but I AM a Christmas person. 
I hope that you do not catch his bug, and that you get lots of deals.
I had to get groceries today as I didn't get any last week as we were gone and we eat alot of (almost) fresh fruits and vegetables which we were out of.

I prefer not to think about Christmas this time of year. It comes soon enough..How was your trip? You haven't posted about it

I hope so. My son doesn't really like him driving all the way down here. He says he is frail, and shouldn't be taxing himself. I think he can handle it though.

@LadyDuck He drove quite a bit on the Pennsylvania trip at least 2 hours each way, but I have to admit..some of the time I was watching him intently..I am never sure what he sees and what he doesn't.

That reminds me, again, that I need to start drinking the EmerGenC (high dose Vitamin C) before I go on my trip.
