Gammon, fried potatoes and sweet corn for tea.

I bought a small gammon joint last week ready to boil for this evenings tea. It was on special offer and although it says small on the label it easily does for 6 meals.
Anyway, I boiled that up and whilst it was cooking I par boiled some potatoes then fried them.
We don’t very often have sweetcorn so I thought I would do that tonight too.
The Mister has parsley sauce on his too but I am much more normal and I don’t like that.
It was delicious ….and there is plenty of meat left too.
What are you having to eat today ?

I normally don't eat late lunch until around 5 pm but I woke up hungry today so I'm eating shredded beef sandwiches for lunch today with raw sweet peppers and sweet onions. YUM!

I think the Meals on Wheels lunch today is stuffed peppers. Meh. They aren't that good.
