Gammon, fried potatoes and sweet corn for tea.

I bought a small gammon joint last week ready to boil for this evenings tea. It was on special offer and although it says small on the label it easily does for 6 meals. Anyway, I boiled that up and whilst it was cooking I par boiled some potatoes then fried them. We don’t very often have sweetcorn so I thought I would do that tonight too. The Mister has parsley sauce on his too but I am much more normal and I don’t like that. It was delicious ….and there is plenty of meat left too. What are you having to eat today ?

I normally don't eat late lunch until around 5 pm but I woke up hungry today so I'm eating shredded beef sandwiches for lunch today with raw sweet peppers and sweet onions. YUM! Uhm... YOU are "normal"? But your hubby isn't? Uh huh... pull the other one. It has bells on.

@DaddyEvil parsley sauce is the food of the devil …..you are not missing anything ! Really, can’t say I’d ever noticed the teasing …..are you going to start sometime soon ? lol x

That sounds really nice, especially with the fried potatoes and sweetcorn. I kept it quite light today, just had a basic meal
