365 Days of Photos - Day 3

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? It's Saturday, April 25th of 2026. It's crazy how fast the year is going already. About a month and my son will be done with school. This is not about that though - this is about the photo that you see above. I took this photograph many years ago while camping with my grandparents. We didn't go camping on a regular basis, but we would go once in a while. We went a bit more when my grandpa got a pop up camper. Surprisingly it held a lot of stuff when condensed back down. Have you ever had one of those? Many years later, my grandfather bought an actual camper (which he had to buy a whole new truck to be able to drive it around which made my grandmother very upset because he had spent a lot of money without discussing it with her). Anyways - this was one of the later trips we took when I had a digital camera. I wanted to take photos of all the amazing views. This is definitely one of them. Don't you agree?

Aye. Amazing views Courtney. You did well with this one We used a tent until a couple of years ago until we decided we were too old for camping

Thank you, I got a lot more of views like this in the line up. But I will try to spread them out. So, no more camping? I remember using tents when I was much younger, but was nice when my grandfather got a camper, even the pop out one.

@MommyOfEli2013 Oh well, no more camping but now we do static caravans on resorts and glamping pods, To be honest I am glad we don't do tents anymore I'm getting too old for all that now

@Ineeddentures well that sounds nicer. Think I'd prefer that lol. Understandable though, about no more tents

Wow, that’s pretty. So much to investigate: the lake, the rocky shoreline, the mountains, and those clouds!

That is a great view. I don't have no urge to go camping. But one of those bigger ones might change my mind

That sounds like a really special memory, and the photo must mean a lot. It definitely sounds like one of those moments worth capturing.
