I was excited to see my capsicum or chili pepper plants thriving in heat. They were like 7 to 10 inches already. Boy, I was happy to see them growing and I hope they will survive. Then one day I saw them, the undersides were all white, then their leaves started to wither. At first, I thought maybe it was just the heat stressing them out. But when I looked closer, something didn’t feel right. The leaves didn’t just droop, they looked sick, almost lifeless. That white underside made me worry. Was it some kind of pest? Fungus? Or did I do something wrong in caring for them? It’s a bit disheartening, honestly. This happened several times, making me realize I might not be made for this but I still want to try. I take care of your plants, check on them every day, and then suddenly something changes overnight. I even tried watering them more, thinking they might just be thirsty, but it didn’t seem to help much. Now I’m watching them closely, hoping they’ll recover somehow. Gardening really teaches patience, doesn’t it? One moment you’re celebrating new growth, and the next you’re trying to figure out what went wrong. Have you ever experienced this with your plants? What did you do to save them?

Do you use Hydrogen Peroxide for wounds on yourself or your kids? It's a 3% solution (H2O2) that is sold in American stores. If you have some, put 6 ounces of it into a gallon of water and then pour that mix into a spray bottle. (It sounds like you have a fungus outbreak because of the high humidity there.) Spray the mix onto the entire leaf, top and bottom but only spray one plant and wait 24 hours and see if the plant looks better. It SHOULD wash the fungus off and the leaves should look better. IF that works, then spray the rest of your plants. If that doesn't help, then I don't know what the problem is/might be.

@rakski You'll have to watch them. If that helps, it won't stop more fungus from growing on the leaves. You'll have to treat them again if you see more fungus.

I have had some gardening disasters. I did nothing to save plants which were dying So to be brutally honest, I stopped trying to grow plants. Now if I want coriander I buy it already growing in a pot from Tesco
