So even if Trump's gaudy ballroom gets built. . .

. . . it wouldn't have helped him on Saturday during the White House Correspondents Dinner. The president doesn't host the dinner--the White House Correspondents Association does. Is Trump going to rent it out for some exorbitant sum to the WHCA to host the event? Is this going to be like what he does to the Secret Service when he is staying at his properties? The proposed ballroom also will only fit 1000 people whereas the one at the Washington Hilton in DC fits 3000. The room is typically packed to capacity so which 2/3 of previous attendees will be chopped from the guest list? The tacky gold ballroom is nothing more than an exercise in assuaging Trump's ego and exceptionally poor taste.

Totally off topic, but did you see that Reagan was shot when he left the Washington Hilton in 1981? Anyway, I'm amazed that the number of MAGAts who are starting to doubt the validity of the "assassination attempts."

Exceptionally poor taste. Well said. Good info. I did not know that the ballroom would only hold 1000 people.

But there are consequences for real humans. That's what bothers me.
