I am watching The Killing on Tubi

It is a detective show set in Seattle focusing on the killing of a teenage girl. I have just realized that it reminds me of Twin Peaks, which was all the rage in the 90's. I didn't watch it, but I am roughly familiar with the plot. Although this movie has a lady detective in the lead instead of Kyle McClaughlin. The Killing is good with a lot of intrigue. Twin Peaks had a high viewership in its day as well. It also was film noir filmed in dark tones like the Killing.Another show it is similar to is Broadchurch, and its American counterpart, who's name escapes me at the moment. Do you like detective shows?

I remember when that originally aired on AMC. The first season was raved about, but the second season wasn’t as widely touted. I think critics are way too harsh.

I am still in the first season. There seem to be a few seasons. I will probably watch until the end. I want to know who the culprit is.
