Beautiful Historic 'Jashore Road'

Jessore Road is a historic 121-km international highway connecting Kolkata (Shyambazar) in India to Jashore in Bangladesh, passing through Dum Dum, Barasat, and the Petrapole border. Renowned for its ancient rain trees, this route served as a critical refugee path during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War and is famously depicted in Allen Ginsberg's poem, "September on Jessore Road".

I know the poem Ginsberg wrote it because of the indifference of the American Government to the plight of the refugees in the camps he visited 55 years later The American government is still indifferent to the plight of refugees caught up in war and humanitarian crisis Shame on them then Shame on them now
