No Surprises Here

I never really realized that we followed a menu until a friend said something to us while we were chatting about food and take out days. We used to go out for supper on Thursday nights when we were first married. It was always so much fun, the pub type of restaurant that we liked to go to would have alot of the office staff having a drink together and leaving, about the same time we would arrive. It was the unofficial kick off to the weekend for us, and for many. But over the years, we have changed our Thursdays. While raising our son he often had swimming lessons on Thursdays, so it became take out night. And it still is take out night. Tonight is pizza. But on Mondays, it is always fish and chips, Tuesday is burger night, Wednesdays are cold plate night at this time of the year and Fridays is usually steak night. We wing it on Saturdays and usually have a nice big meal on Sunday for supper. We are not really full of surprises when it comes to what and when we eat. And you? Do you have some usuals that you fall back on or do you (chicken) wing it for the most part.
