In summer the 3 types of limes kagji lime, pati lime, gandharaj lime helps in food. When bengalies eat dal and rice they squeeze the lime and that adds taste. The gandharaj lime has a lovely smell, because the word gandharaj meaning king of fragrance in bengali. Even in fish curry the lime adds taste.

In the US, there is only one type of lime imported for our use. The Persian lime is easily transported and seedless. My favorite juice flavor is lime.
