A Gift

Today morning just when I returned from my morning walk, I saw one of my friends waiting for me at my drawing room. He was talking to my mother.
Seeing me he got up from the sofa and inserted his hand in the bag he had with him. He brought out five books from the bag and said, " Take these books. I hope you will love them."
I was surprised.He had given the books to me as gift, but it was not my birthday or any other special day.
He told me he saw the books in a bookstore and bought them, as he knew I was a book lover. All the books are about jungle adventures.I thanked him.
Tomorrow is Sunday and I will spend the weekend reading the books

Thank you. I was surprised when he gifted me books. This friend of mine has never been a book lover. He always ridiculed me for my love for books. You will never find him in a book store. I wonder what made him buy books for me.

Thank you. I've started reading the books. Last night I read 40 pages of one book. There are around 200 pages more to read.
What I can't understand is that how this friend of mine thought of gifting me books. He's not a book lover.In fact, he almost hates reading. You'll never find him at a book store.He often ridicules me for being a book lover.
I asked him, but he didn't answer, just laughed loudly.

Thank you. I wonder how he entered a book store today. He is one of those who rarely read books. Crazy boy. In fact he is interested in things I hate. And he bought books about jungle adventures. He often ridiculed me for my love for jungles.
