It is so gorgeous outside today. With the slightly warm, but sunny weather, it sure is a pretty day to take the dog outside. It’s a nice change from sitting down so much of the morning. I don’t know who won to move on to national competition, but I have a good idea who won a couple age groups. I didn’t confer with the other judges on their scores, but when one child forgets lines and has to be prompted by their mom, odds are one of the others placed higher. And then when it got to one teenager, I’d be shocked if a kid named Trustin didn’t win his age group. He’s astonishingly good, especially for his age. I don’t think my cousin moved on, but in other news, Amyra moved on to national competition for her artwork. Once again, judging is so much more simple than trying to herd a group of people. Today was good, and I got to see the little ones before they left too. Are you meant to judge a contest, or keep people in line?
