Ditching my Acer Chromebook for good

Hey Mylotter friends. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Between work, volunteering, the cats, and having more computer issues for the past week, I thought I would stop by here tonight to say hi. I believe I've said a long time ago, that I wanted to get rid of my Chromebook since it's been giving me a lot of tech stress hell last year. Well, I've finally bite the bullet this afternoon and purchased a new one from Best Buy. Two weeks ago, I've had Google password issues when it says it was an unknown device on my phone. This was clearly a week after Bailey stepped on the keyboard to shut it off. And when I've tried to clean my keys that weren't working, I should've turned the laptop off and used compressed air. Instead, it might've made things worse, since the WER keys weren't working at all. I'eve used my brother's external keyboard and then, two weekends ago, when it wouldn't take it at all, I had to reboot it via recovery mode to start all over again. Now the Q and S keys aren't working then. Those keys worked now for a few hours, and then stopped it. So I'm giving up the ghost and saying goodbye to Acer Chromebook this week for good. Due to a busy work week, (30 hours for Mother's Day/Cinco De Mayo), I won't be able to set it up until this weekend. But it'll be shipped free and be here tomorrow. And I got it for a weekend sale deal for $199, plus some digital extras for $256 for my HP Chromebook laptop. At least, it would take care of all the tech stress for the past year or so with some relief. So when it's all set up this weekend, I'll pop up here to let you know how it goes. I'll check in later this week after work to do some commenting for awhile. Has anyone had a HP computer before?
