Do you ever feel like you need a break from everything?

Not even anything specific, just everything in general. Life, responsibilities, noise, people… it can all feel like too much sometimes.
I don’t mean a big holiday or anything, just a proper break where you don’t have to think or worry about anything for a while.
It’s hard though because real life doesn’t really pause. There’s always something that needs to be done.
How do you give yourself a break without falling behind on everything?

I rest during the morning after a long night of rest.

I don’t have a family to be responsible for, so really, the breaks I want, from my bad health, aren’t really coming. My brother law pays once a month for a masseuse to visit their house and give my sister an hour and a half massage while he takes all three kids out for the day. I often wonder when HE gets a break. He works from home so he helps with the kids too.

Sometimes you just have to let housework go and just do the bare minimum for yourself and your kids... Of course, kids always need something so you let things for yourself go until they're old enough to watch themselves and you can take a little time for yourself.
May I ask, where is their dad? Do you still have parents you can foist your kids off on for a little while? How old are your kids? Are they in school yet? Or do you have a babysitter you can leave them with for a while during the daytime? Do you work?
I still had to support myself and my daughter while she was growing up so grandma stepped in more than I had a right to expect of her. (My mother was in her early sixties when Pretty was little but she helped as much as she could.) I had to be at work before 8 am so Pretty went to grandma's house until time for school and grandma walked Pretty to school and picked her up from school until I could pick Pretty up again as soon as I got off work.
