A false promise

I was at my desk when a client came in asking for a certificate of indigency to secure transportation funds to return to Manila after being deceived by a romantic partner. Sadly, she has three children to take care of, and she needs to work for their food and schooling. Love can really be deceiving, but what I learned recently is that we don't need to trust our heart or our mind when we love; we have to trust God! I am praying that she receives the help she needs so she can move forward.

I agree, the vulnerable ones are usually the victims.
