Detroit Michigan Donald Faulkner was an eyewitness on Wednesday January 7 when woman driver Lathisa Collins was inside of her sports utility vehicle that caught fire in an auto accident.
Latisha was a passenger inside of the SUV when the auto crashed into a truck. Donald managed to rescue Latisha from the burning SUV.
Latisha is currently a patient at the DMC Detroit Burning Center in serious condition due to third degree burns and fractured bones as a result of the auto accident.
Donald went to visit Latisha in the hospital as a goodwill gesture to cheer her up.
Donald was awarded on Friday for his act of heroism. Latisha's family is grateful for saving her life.

You are right since it takes a lot of courage to attempt a rescue of a burning auto.

Poor Latisha
Has any information been given on the burns coverage on her face, body and limbs,
Wonder if she was even aware Donald visited her.
So this was in January
Is there any way to get an update on how she is doing
