I've been following a news story of a teen boy who was kidnapped at gunpoint.

The last few days the top news story in my area has been about a teen boy who was kidnapped at gunpoint. Men with guns came into his home and grabbed him. Family members tried to intervene. They pointed guns at the family members and threatened to shoot them. I think items were even stolen. They took the boy. Put him in a car and sped away. His mom was on the news worried to death, as well as neighbors and other family members. Local police and the FBI were involved. Turns out the boy worked with others to plan his own kidnapping. He and those involved are now in jail. They are being charged with so many felonies, including kidnapping, burglary, a weapons charge among others. I feel for his mom. I'm so sad for her. She got him back safe only to lose him again. He is being held without bond. I was shocked how this ended. The outcome was so unexpected.
