I’ve just been talking to Mom and as usual I am going to meet her in the morning to go shopping.
Tomorrow she wants to go to Lidl first as they have some trailing plants in and she wants some for her hanging baskets.
So it’s Lidl first, then Morrisons.
We shall get a chicken from Lidl for Sunday lunch.
Lidl have just changed their loyalty scheme. From this week you get one point for every pound that you spend. You can then swap the points for goodies in store when you have enough. We don’t shop there as often as we used to and we don’t spend very much when we do go so I doubt I will get many freebies or treats ….but , we will see !
Do you use loyalty cards ?

@AmbiePam that’s a shame, we get some good offers and money back with ours. As you can probably guess , I am signed up to every store I go to …..

@Traceyjayne I do get special coupons at Walmart, but I wouldn’t count that as a loyalty card. The cheaper stores don’t really seem to have loyalty cards around here.

@traceyjayne It’s said that the changes to Lidl loyalty aren’t great, but I’ll be getting a free pastry tomorrow. Apple turnover methinks.

@xFiacre we have the apple turnovers too …..
Yes, people have said the loyalty scheme isn’t going to be so good for the customer …..still, if you shop there anyway, you may as well have a loyalty card , there will be offers and freebies along the way ….

@Deepizzaguy is that because your shops don’t have them, or because you choose not to use them ?
