Ideas to enhance my farmhouse area

Last year, I bought an agricultural land of around 2000 m². It is not too big. It is located in a farming zone, not too far from poultries. As an immediate step, we planted pumpkins, bananas, chilies and eggplants on the land. My father has been very busy cultivating the land.
I have now decided to divide the land into two parts. The first part will be dedicated to vegetables and the other part will be deducted to the construction of a small farmhouses, surrounded by fruit trees and a play area for my son. That part where the farmhouse will be built, also ends with a water stream.
We have just cleaned the land and planting grass for the moment, as I wanted a natural space where the little one can run around barefoot, and we can feel more grounded to the soil.
I have already bought several fruit plants including mulberry, guava, mangoes and so on.
I am still thinking how can I enhance that space where the farmhouse will be built. Do you have any idea or suggestions?

You bought just under an acre of land. Is there no house already associated with the land or it's just farming land? You might have to get it re-zoned before you can add a house on the land you bought.
In Mauritius, no, you cannot simply build a house on agricultural land in Mauritius without prior authorization. You must follow a structured, legal process to convert agricultural land to residential use. Unauthorized construction is illegal; you need a Land Conversion Permit and a Building and Land Use Permit.
