I shouldn’t have said anything.

Last night I shouldn’t have vocalized my fear that my electricity would go out. Although to be fair, it didn’t go out until an hour after the storm was over. That was about 8:15pm. Around 8:40pm I was headed to my dad and stepmom’s home after the outage wasn’t supposed to be resolved until after midnight. The outage lasted until 4:12am, but I only found that out when I got up for good at 6:45am. Sadie seems to have slept fine on my lap, and luckily, even though I woke up thinking my neck was messed up, it seems fine now.
I took off before the my dad and Diana woke up, and it was really pretty to see the fog with the morning sun peaking through.
How is it going where you are?

It is sunny today. We did not have any storms. I am glad you have a place to go and people to be with.

Were you just sleeping on a recliner there? That was a short trip. Glad you had somewhere to go with the power out though.

We , in our area, have not had any disasastrous storm since 1999. I was very little then. We had a Tsunami then. However it affected our coastal areas only.
