Are you old enough to remember "record albums"? Can you still remember "what comes next"?

When I was a child, we bought what were called "record albums," or "LPs," and played them on what were called "turntables," or" record players."
There was up to 45 minutes of music on a single LP, and the songs always came in the same order.
Just now, as I was typing a post about something else, a song by The Band came into my head.I think it's called "Rocking Chair." When that song ended, another song started playing in my head. I think it's called "Look Out Cleveland."
I realized that I had listened to that album so many times as a kid and adolescent, I had "memorized" the order in which the songs occurred. I can do the same with some of the Kingston Trio, Gordon Lightfoot and Jimi Henrix albums I listend to over and over as a kid.
Do you remember record albums and record players? Can you think of an example of an example of the "next song" phenomenon?

There are a couple of albums I still “have” to listen to in order, because they’re “concept albums” and were recorded chronologically to the theme. One is Desperado by the Eagles, and the other is Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy by Elton John.

Funny. I liked the early Eagles, But I have only one or two of their albums. I don't have any Elton John in my collection. Let me think (sing in my head).Aha! Lady of the Isand is followed by Helplessly Hoping on the original Crosby Stills and Nash album.

@TheHorse — right, and “Cathedral” closes out side one of CSN from 1977.
