I have no desire to go on a cruise but it is the dream of many. Can you imagine planning a cruise for months, the time comes and you look forward to this luxurious cruise, right? Only to board and then soon be notified there is an outbreak of some horrific virus. This is what happened to scams of people on the Caribbean Princess which set out on April 28th and will be returning on May 11th.
I could never go on one of these because of my fear of the water. Just thinking of being on a huge ship and with water all around is too scary.
I feel badly for these people. The norovirus is very contagious. The symptoms come in 12 to 24 hours and are vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, etc.

Long cruises do not appeal to me either.
I like a short morning or afternoon cruise if visiting an area that is on the water.
Those are very informative and interesting cruises.
Otherwise, just to take a cruise to live on a boat for a number of days and visit some ports, that does not appeal to me.

I know what you mean since when my relatives and myself used to be on board of a freight ship that traveled from Colon Panama to New Orleans which took around four days, just seeing the ocean was scary from the deck..

I do not know why people go on cruises. You safer on a boat from the Deadliest Catch than a cruise ship. They seen some things and while they can be jerks they much more prepared for things that can happen.
You can have all the money in the world, just because they wealthy or rich does not make them experts. Usually when things are designed to be about money, the less safe you get.
