Roast chicken today ….my favourite …

Sunday is here again ….so, that means , it’s roast dinner day.
Today we had roast chicken, roast potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, stuffing and gravy.
For pudding Mom had made a Strawberry cheesecake.
All of it was absolutely delicious.
What have you had for your meals today ?

That all sounds so good. I love all of it.
I had chicken tenders for one meal and a PB&J sandwich for the other.

@Traceyjayne It’s a Mexican creation. Beef (or chicken if you want) fajita meat wrapped in thick flour tortillas, then deep fried. I had cheese on top of mine, but some people have chili sauce or sour cream sauce.

I've had two roasts in two days but they were both very enjoyable. Unfortunately no strawberry shortcake for us.

@Traceyjayne Some with English traditions have Yorkshire puddings. Vince's family did but mine didn't. We mostly have roast pork or lamb; less often roast chicken and beef.

@JudyEv. Roast dinners are definitely my favourites …..what meats did you have ? Do you have Yorkshire puddings there ? I never know which countries have them, it may just be us here in the UK !
