Kropsu

Also sometimes spelled kropsua. It is food. In fact it is a breakfast food from my husband's Finlander heritage. I wanted breakfast for supper, so I made kropsu. It is much like a Dutch Baby or a Pfannekuchen. Ingredients are simple and cheap. Eggs, sugar, flour, salt, butter and milk. I added vanilla and a little nutmeg. It comes out very custardy. Nourishing, but light on the stomach. We did not add anything, but it would be good with a fruit sauce or even just fruit. Or maple syrup, or chocolate sauce. Tonight it hit the spot.
