Food or art? I go for food.

Croissant, baguette with butter and jam, coffee and orange juice - breakfast in the Jardin des Plantes in Nantes this morning. So copious that we were able to skip lunch and save ourselves for dinner.
One on the “must see” attractions, I discovered, is right outside my bedroom window. It’s an “art installation” - nonsense dressed up in a fancy name. If you ask me it’s like a totem pole, but there it stands in a courtyard below my window and pictured above.
Restaurants and cafés are what I’m interested in. And local drink. Took a tourist train through the city this morning which saved us having to tramp around in the heat. Tomorrow we’ll do a museum.

I also like to go to restaurants and cafes when I am on the road myself which was a long time ago.

Sounds like nonsense is the theme in that. I'm a foodie so I follow that trail.
