Working Hub Haven

In the Philippines, many people don’t hang out in Starbucks just to unwind and meet friends; it is a happy place for working people and students! It is their working haven, lol!
Usually, in the morning, on a newly built branch nearby, most of their customers are a group of people having their early meetings there.
Local organizations, city hall officers, police staff, staff that handles mini sports, and the grandpas with their group of grandpas, which is obviously retired, are their early bird customers. They open at 7 am; some of the branches open at 6 am.
The solo tables are occupied by young professionals with their laptops, and sometimes, you won’t believe it, they are on video call meetings.
Starbucks is generous enough to let us be. And their staff, if not almost all of them, are very polite and approachable.
Do you think Starbucks is also a Working Hub Haven in your place?

the only problem, some will order just one coffee and stay there for the whole day... or has there been a limit of stay now?

Nope! They never do that.
I always buy one venti frappe and sometimes with banana bread, and I stay there for 3 to 4 hours, lol!

That's in Tagaytay, the newly built branch there, they allow customers to stay for two hours, and then beyond that, they will charge you.
But in Twin Lakes, Tagaytay SB, there is no time limit yet.
I think Starbucks branches with the highest popularity are the only branches with a time limit, like in Hiraya Tagaytay.

@rakski That's for sure. Anyway, I don't go there, it will be a waste of time, hahaha, its so far from where I live, and I can only stay for just 2 hours,

@luisadannointed or maybe those branches with high traffic of people.
Some overstayed because it's cozy, cold and comfortable there

It’s a place where I think people still come to work on their projects, but it’s not much of a place where people here would have a video call or anything. The ones closest to the university are, of course, filled with students, as you would expect. But also, the younger people tend to be the ones to linger, not the older people.

In the Philippines its different, maybe because Starbucks is very accommodating. Anyway, I love their service, and I love their staff.

In the Philippines its relaxing in the morning, so you can see a lot of grandparents staying there.
But nothing can beat Jollibee and Mcdonald's, they are full in the morning with grandparents and their yayas, plus young pro who just got out from their night shift.
