Watermelon

The best fruits during summer. It gives you sweetness and, at the same time, a refreshing watery meat fruit that can quench your thirst in the midst of summer. My mom buys watermelon, I think twice or thrice a week at the nearby wet market, enough for our daily consumption per week. Do you have a favorite fruit during the summer? I love mangoes and watermelon. What’s yours?

It's so refreshing, especially when you store it in the fridge before eating it .

You are so blessed, we don't have one now; it was consumed last night, and my mom is not yet doing her groceries, she went to church early in the morning.

I absolutely love watermelon. It is so good in the summer, and it is something to look forward to. I’m also a big fan of fresh strawberries. Have you ever put salt on watermelon? If you get watermelon that isn’t sweet enough, sprinkle a LITTLE salt over it, and it tastes delicious.

Watermelon is a great fruit during the summer. We don't buy it during the winter.

@luisadannointed The grapes have been fanastic this year so we've enjoyed grapes and watermelon mostly. We're not really big fruit eaters.

I like watermelon but dislike having to spit out the seeds. I prefer the seedless ones, at least the seeds are tiny, white rather than the mature black seeds.

@luisadannointed There is, and that’s actually the kind I eat! At least the seeds of those so called seedless watermelons are tiny, soft, white edible seeds that you can easily eat anyway unlike the black mature seeds of regular watermelons.
