Happy Wednesday...We're Half Way There

We are officially half way through the week and I can't wait for the weekend.
So yesterday went about as we planned. We got home after work and had dinner before the meeting. The meeting didn't actually happen because we didn't have enough people. It's the first time in a long time that's happened but I mean it does happen. We're all volunteers with lives and families.
Today I'm back down to Chris's. Her grandmother was freezing yesterday so she didn't come out of her room much. I still think her thermostat lies because her house gets freezing. I get most of my computer work done there too so it works out time wise.
I have to go by EMS today. We have a new app for scheduling so we need to make accounts and learn how to use it which our director is more than happy to do. He's just an awesome guy. If things go well he's also going to be the one that teaches my Advanced class in the fall.
There is finally a new book in my life lol. I picked it out yesterday when we got home. I've been relying on my kindle a little more since my books are in so much disarray right now. This one is Burning for More by Kaye Kennedy. I think she either did a lot of research or she's part of the fire family because it's good and accurate. According to the kindle I'm 15% through it but I'm loving it so far. Something about the heroine makes you fall for her. I think because it's been a while since I've read a weak to strong female lead. Like she comes off as weak but she learns to stand on her own...does that make sense lol.
I can officially work in the shop again too! I finally found my heat tape yesterday. Only one roll but it's something and I can finish my business cards and the two tumblers that were ordered. Super excited now lol. There are some first responder things I want to do as well.
The yard sale is coming along. I really need to start pricing things though. I mean to but when I walk in the house I get overwhelmed so I go to the books. It's my safe space so that's where I go and the rest gets ignored. I was working on pop's room and clearing it out but I stopped, I really need to get back to it.
I think I'm going to start exercising again. Maybe it'll help me mentally with something in the routine to focus my mind. I'm not talking something heavy duty like orange fitness or the gym in general but I'm seriously thinking about signing up for Weapon Up which is like sword yoga but it's more involved I think is the word. Once the house is settled and things get out of where the dining room/kitchen is I'll be adding stuff there. Maybe a pool table and my punching guy will go there too.
Our bedroom is going to get completely rearranged once I get one more bookcase out of here. Hubby also wants to get me a small computer desk for the bedroom so I have a space to work online without having to be uncomfortable. Totally his idea and very sweet. I even found the one I want.
As for the crafts in general, well I still have two blankets in the works and I have the stars to add to my husband's thin red line one. I have all but one color now for the multi-agency blanket he wants me to make. I'll get there at some point lol.
As usual the thoughts in my head are going a million miles a minute and I'm just trying to get by day to day.
What is everyone else up to today?

With all that you do on a daily basis I don't see how you could possibly need to exercise
As always, things seem to be going in the right direction for you and glad that you found a new book to read.
Today I'm working on a blue & white baby blanket and will relax this afternoon with my book. I'm reading Ocean Prey by John Sandford which is a mystery series.

I'm thinking for the relaxation aspect mostly. That's why I'm thinking the Weapon Up sword yoga program. I keep seeing it on facebook and I'm always going I want to do that but I always put it off. Maybe I need to stop putting it off. Something for me.
I bet that blanket will be beautiful. I know the author and the books, I just never read him. I think I'm slowly unearthing his books though. he was in a container in the spare room. I'm just not at J's yet.

You need to slow down! Nothing going on here today except the septic guy will clean the tank.

What is slow down lol. If I slow down then things don't get done. I'm giving us one year to get everything settled and we're going to be looking at adoption and fostering. I am trying to not stress about things. Make lists to get things done and if I don't get done just let it go.

@LindaOHio Thank you. It's been in the works for a bit but now we're really going to start putting things in motion but to do that we need space.
