Middle of the Week Wednesday

Middle of the week day, or hump day as we like to say in the working world. I work a regular day today. Monday and Tuesday my days were shorter, I had a doctor's appointment to attend to yesterday, and took paid sick time and Monday we had tech issues and I just volunteered to leave a few hours early-no patience for system issues on a Monday. My doctor told me that he was very happy with my lab numbers yesterday. My blood sugar is down, and I cannot say that I have done anything differently. I actually was a bit worried about the outcome because I did eat my fair share of Easter candy-we only finished them a couple of weeks ago. The twins start junior kindergarten in September. Yesterday was orientation day. The parents and future students were invited to the school. There were 2 sessions held. There will be alot of jk students in that school come next school year. The girls didn't say alot about it to me, other than they did not want to get lost as the building seemed large to them. I imagine that they may get lost, but if that is the worst that happens to them in their first year of school, they will be doing well. Today is a regular day at work, tomorrow I finish a bit earlier and on Friday I am finished by noon. I have some time that they owed me for an award that I received. Since Monday is Victoria Day holiday here, the unofficial start to summer, I thought that I would knock off early on Friday.
