Middle of the Week Wednesday

Middle of the week day, or hump day as we like to say in the working world. I work a regular day today. Monday and Tuesday my days were shorter, I had a doctor's appointment to attend to yesterday, and took paid sick time and Monday we had tech issues and I just volunteered to leave a few hours early-no patience for system issues on a Monday. My doctor told me that he was very happy with my lab numbers yesterday. My blood sugar is down, and I cannot say that I have done anything differently. I actually was a bit worried about the outcome because I did eat my fair share of Easter candy-we only finished them a couple of weeks ago. The twins start junior kindergarten in September. Yesterday was orientation day. The parents and future students were invited to the school. There were 2 sessions held. There will be alot of jk students in that school come next school year. The girls didn't say alot about it to me, other than they did not want to get lost as the building seemed large to them. I imagine that they may get lost, but if that is the worst that happens to them in their first year of school, they will be doing well. Today is a regular day at work, tomorrow I finish a bit earlier and on Friday I am finished by noon. I have some time that they owed me for an award that I received. Since Monday is Victoria Day holiday here, the unofficial start to summer, I thought that I would knock off early on Friday. Although it is only middle of the week, the end of the week is coming quickly. How are your days going this week? ~Photo is FlowerPot Island, Ontario

I’m so glad to hear your lab numbers were so good. And hey, Easter candy is hard to resist! I’ve gotten several things done today, but earlier this week all I did was clean. I’m glad to have accomplished something today, and also got to see my dad this morning.

Thanks for the update. It's been a pretty busy week, scheduling doctors' appointments and having contractors coming, etc.

Yay for good test results! Where was that pic taken? It is so cool. Is that junior kindergarten an all day thing? 4 seems awfully young to start school..unless it is a special program of some sort.

I'm glad that your test results turned out well. Hard to believe that the twins are starting school in September. Feels like they were just born not long ago. Today is one of my two days in the office. I am lucky to be able to work from home the rest of the week.

Happy Hump Day! today is my grandsons 21st birthday and tomorrow is my youngest daughters birthday (she's the one that lives with me) She took tomorrow off from work and we'll be going out for lunch with my oldest daughter so I'm looking forward to that. Wow can't believe how fast time flies and that your twins are already going to junior kindergarten, I thought time flew by when my grandkids are already graduating from college but your little ones are already going to school. Makes my head spin Gee pretty soon you'll tell me you're retiring
