Squirty elephant.

I got squirted in the face today by a mechanical elephant. Mercifully it was water with which I was squirted from its trunk, and not with anything more distasteful from somewhere else. The elephant is housed in Nantes and is part of a collection of machines. It’s about six times the size of a real elephant and you can pay for a ride on it. The legs move as does the trunk and it’s all controlled by a man in a driver’s cabin. He is in charge also of the trunk and he quite purposefully pointed it at me and blasted me with cold water as I stood watching. I was seriously irritated but smiled and waved.
