A cheque for 5c

I went through some old files today trying to find something for Vince. I found what he was looking for but I also found this cheque. Decades ago we bought a property and when everything had been finalised the real estate agency owed us 5c. We would have told them to put it in a charity jar or whatever but no, they had to spend 50c on a stamp and post us a cheque. It’s true what they say – commonsense isn’t very common at all.
