We've been working on our garage

We’ve been in this retirement village for almost five years. In that time, we’ve downsized to one car which means we now have more room in the two-car garage. It was time to reorganise our tools and bits and pieces. We moved some shelves from the front of the garage to near the roller door and we’ve now added a shelf along the wall. We haven’t finishing putting things where we want them yet but we’ve made a start.

It looks really good! You guys did a great job. When my dad retires at the end of the year he and Diana are downsizing to one car as well. They only put one car in their garage now anyway though.

It is much nicer to have that space in the garage for a workspace than a car that may not be used often. We down-sized to just 1 car a few months ago because he is retired and I work from home. You have everything looking very organized in the photo.

That looks very tidy. Our garage was getting better until I came home with a car-load of scrap wood so now it's just a dump again, and no chance of playing table tennis
