Well, chair has arrived

I sprinted down the driveway and back like 3 times everytime I thought I saw a Fed EX truck, It is a good thing I did because the driver was a different one, and he was like why does your house number say such and such when it should be such and such? It was a mistake in the closing on the property..the paperwork switched two of the numbers..well too late to change now. However, when someone new comes I always have anxiety about it. I have the box open, but will work on getting it set up tomorrow. I need a break! Have you gotten any new furniture lately?

You got that couch from your dad, if you want to count that. Was that in November? it seems more recent. The last thing I got was that beautiful roll top desk. It was used of course, but it looks brand new. I really lucked out on that.
Of course I bought cat furniture which he doesn't like a year and a half ago.

@snowy22315 Yeah, that new to me couch was from my dad back in November. It was Diana’s when she got married and brought it with her. It’s very nice.

@AmbiePam Everything in here could stand to be replaced honestly, but as long as it is still functioning, not in any rush. Well the washer and dryer are both fairly new.

Well worse case scenario he had a delivery for the neighbor he would have asked him where I was, and he knows, and would have told him. The neighbor gets a delivery of some sort everyday. My parents said the people that live across the street from them..have the same thing going on. Daily deliveries.

It is a good thing that you ran out to flag him down.
I hope that you enjoy your new piece of furniture.
We haven't bought any new furniture in a couple of years, probably the last piece was the office chair that I use every day.
We are due to replace the mattress next year, the box springs should be good for another 8 or 9 years until we replace that mattress.

My mattress could stand to be replaced for sure, but it's comfortable enough with a topper.

@snowy22315 Ours is still comfortable, but I don't want to push it beyond the 9 year limit, they tend to go so quickly around that age. We have a pillow top kind too.
