Yes, using a crumpet for the base of a pizza is a new one for me ….but hey ! …..pizza is pizza …..
This receipt is from my new Pinch of Nom book.
Crumpet topped with sauce …..tomato purée, water, herbs
Then topped with sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and thinly sliced ham ….
Do you think it sounds yummy …..or….don’t mess with pizza …. !

It was delicious ….i will have them again….soon. But I would cook them a bit longer as they could have been hotter ….
