I was really wondering with these days of price hikes and poor growing seasons etc. if they would be offering that again for the summer holidays..Happily they are!
Memorial Day is right around the corner here. They can't be making any money on this deal, but I am sure it is a draw to get people in the store. It will go up a bit in price later on..but not too much. I eat their cheap corn all summer until I am sick of it! Does your store have holiday specials?

They have whole watermelons for 2.99..but what am I gonna do with a whole watermelon? If they were the small ones I would go for it..but would end up throwing half a big one away .even if I froze some

They usually put the steaks on sale or do specials to have customers buy more

The local dug store usually have holiday specials around Valentine's Day and Easter on candy for sale as a clearance.
