I love this show, the best American sitcom since friends. Larry David's misanthropic ,pernicious version of himself stalks the streets of Santa Monica and Los ANgeles to reek havoc on his friends and neighbors in showbiz and beyond with endless insults and observations. No one is safe. The beauty of this show is the real celebrities in it that also play exaggerated versions of themselves and willing to send themselves up. He even centers one seasonal round relaunching Seinfeld, which he was originally known for, This is obviously a guy gagging to write about his old job as he could see the huge humour potential and delivers joke after joke. It's also a gentle send up of Jewish celebrity in Hollywood and we all know that has room to be quite edgy on many topics. The hurricane refugees the Black family produce some big questionable laughs. Some of its best stuff is the improv as the actors allowed to go off on tangents and you can see them laughing at each other in the show.
