Nantes airport is a mean, nasty little place, unlike the city it serves. I’m sitting awaiting the Aer Lingus desk to open to relieve me of my luggage.
Anyway, what I really need to tell you all about is one of the toilets in the house we’ve just stayed in. It was just a potty with nothing else so it was necessary to nip across the hall to a bathroom for a post-evacuation hand wash.
Howandever, on the up side, the absence of the sink in the toilet meant that the actual potty was situated equidistantly from the walls on either side, and the owner had very helpfully installed toilet roll holders within easy reach on each wall. So left handed toileteers need not feel discriminated against. Generally the paper is positioned to favour right handed people.
Isn’t that sweet? Now all that’s needed is good quality paper.

Interesting. I would find it inconvenient without a sink.

How funny
You know I have never thought about that. In our downstairs loo the toilet rolls are on the left (if you're sitting on the seat) and the holder is incorporated into a magazine rack. I put it there and I never felt disadvantaged even though I'm right handed.

Interesting news. Yesterday, I thought I would fall in a similar predicament. But on the different side, no toilet paper is provided in the railway station toilets in this backward country. We have to do it the same old way, you have to flush yourself after evacuation.
