My partner has gout, and each time he has gout, it has been nightmare for him but for me as well. Since he cannot move because of pain, i sometines need to absent from office, so that i can give him those that he needs.
All the medicines, out there seems not to do anything, they just masked out the pai, but haven't really found the medicine to help him treat this.
Do you have gout? How do you treat this? Or do you know any fast remedies.

The trigger per person differs. The medicines out there are just pain relief

I know gout is very painful. Has he seen a doctor? I thought it was brought about by certain foods but perhaps that's not correct.

I don't know how to treat gout other than avoiding certain foods.

I don't have gout but I do have bad knees, not only arthritis but bone on bone and it's quite painful. Someitmes my ibuprofen and tylenol help, sometimes it doesn't. More often, unfortunately it doesn't.
Just sitting my knees don't hurt, but getting up and trying to move about is very painful, although once I am up and about for a bit the pain seems to subside a bit. One thing I have found that helps me is that before I get up and out of bed or in my chair, I stretch my leg and it seems to help with the stiffness.
I hope your husband can find some relief from his gout.
