There are 2 types of bottlegourd planted in bengal

In bengal there are 2 types of bottlegourd planted. One is the round bottlegourd the other is the cylindrical shaped bottlegourd. We call them lau. There is a big covering made called macha to avoid strong sunlight. Bottlegourds are very good for health. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Mh6jpOxC6Ek
