Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
This past weekend in the U.S. it was Memorial Day weekend; with yesterday being Memorial Day. We decorate graves of those we have lost with flowers, and things like that.
We did our decorating of them on Sunday, because my cousin wanted to and it was her last day in town before heading back to her moms to spend the last day or so before going back to South Korea.
Anyways - we had 11 flowers to put on graves, yes I have that many family in one cemetery. Starting all the way back to my great-grandmother's parents, to the most recent of my grandma and grandpa who died 30 minutes apart. Sadly, we also lost my uncle who in his probably early 40s and there was a baby lost as well....
The photo for today is one I took at the cemetery - of my Grandma and Grandpa's shared headstone. Some family had already decorated it, and someone added this nice horse windchime. Goes with their "riding off into the sunset" thing...
What do you all think?

I know it was hard to lose your grandmother and grandfather so close together, but I think it just shows how great they are linked.
We have about 80 family members in the cemetery where my dad grew up. The younger they are the less likely they are to be buried there, but that cemetery just goes back so far!

Still crazy to think its been almost 3 years. But yes they were, they are even in the same casket.
Oh wow, 80 family members? I thought 11 was a lot, well it's more than 11...because some share a headstone.

Funny story, my uncle wonder if my grandma is pissed with him because he put them in the same casket. No, that was perfect for them.
I think we all did good putting the headstone together.

@Ineeddentures I'd never heard of that happening before, but I guess if a couple both passes in accidents and such it may be more normal than I think.
But that's good you'd be fine with that
I guess I would too, if my husband and I went at the same time

Od be fine with the same casket as Yvonne
We could sleep together forever.
When they dig us up in 500 years Yvonne would no doubt be on top of me lol
