Officers with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in Florida answered an emergency call from mariners who were aboard a 25 foot boat that was in the Atlantic Ocean around 22 miles off the coast of New Smyrna Beach.
The USCG sent a boat to rescue seven persons aboard the boat and take them to Ponce De Leon inlet as well as the boat.
Thank goodness no one was injured in the rescue mission that took place on Saturday.

And they keep thinking they know how to take a boat out when they don't and constantly have to be rescued,

Yay for the rescue by the coast guard.
Did the boat lose power that they needed to be rescued
That would have been a long swim home

Most likely what happened that the boat ran out of gasoline or an electrical defect.

I know what you mean since I do not like to be on boats either.
