Beauty in Darkness Night.

Tonight is another hot and uncomfortable night without electricity, and the heat inside the house feels endless. With not much fan to ease the warmth, I stepped outside for a while just to breathe. Then I looked up and saw the moon glowing beautifully in the sky. It looked like a giant yellow light hanging peacefully above us, bright but gentle, unlike the harsh heat and sparks we experienced from the power outage. For a moment, the moon became a tiny comfort in the middle of this frustrating situation. The quiet glow with the cool gentle breeze somehow made the night feel calmer and less miserable. Nature has its own way of reminding us that even during difficult and inconvenient times, there is still something beautiful to appreciate if we take the time to look up.

I don't know why you can't get a large battery operated fan so you don't suffer. I know they must make them.

That's really a beautiful way to express the beauty of nature. I'm sorry you're dealing with no power and dying of the heat. Hope you get your power back soon

Our dependence on power can sometimes make us forget that mother nature has some calming effect despite the discomfort of having no power staying outside and appreciating nature can help us go back to the basics.

With the start of the hurricane season just a few days away. I plan to buy a battery operated fan in case of power outages. If the storm is a bad one we could be without power for up to a week or longer.
