Will this insect act like a mosquito?

Will this insect act like a mosquito? I was shocked to find one on my bathroom ceiling earlier this morning. Looking closely at its shape, I realized it looks exactly like a giant mosquito—about 10 times the normal size! Do you know what kind of insect this is? Until now, it’s still hanging out on my bathroom wall. I haven’t decided yet whether to swat it or just let it relax there.

@Shivram59 Wow, really? Are there lots of different types of giant mosquitoes where you're from? Where I live, they all pretty much look and act the same!

Back then, I called that a cause of dengue. I mistaken it due to it's appearance that look like a mosquito in a giant form. But somebody told me that it is harmless to humam and it's name is crane fly. What's more interesting in that insect is that... it's a mosquito eater.
It really surprise me when I was told about it.

Oh my God. This is so funny! While spiders are amazing little bug-catchers, the second their webs turn your house into an obstacle course, it's time for them to pack their bags!
