My Stress Eating Has Caught Up on the Scale

Ever since hubby lost his wallet on Wednesday, I've been eating more protein bars as a stress coping mechanism. They're not bad for me by any means, but if I eat too many, which I did, the carbs stack up higher than I need/want. For two days they didn't show up on the scale, but yesterday I really went overboard and today the scale is showing me that I overdid it. Thankfully it's temporary water weight gain from the carbs and not "real" weight gain, so within a week it'll come back off.

My doctor says it’s normal to fluctuate a few pounds either way. Don’t stress over it. You will drop the excess in short order!

Yes, I'm not anxious or upset about it this time, but I was so happy with the smaller number this week. It's all good.

So there’s nothing to worry about, weight wise.

as for me due to my heavy workload these past few days, I like eating more so it did show I'm gaining weight.
