Quit telling me that!

This person is driving me nuts. They keep telling me they are going to do something I know they will never do. I have told them I don’t want them to do that in an effort to get them to leave it alone. Because a couple times a week they’ll mention it, then give a reason why they had to put it off again. They are driving me nuts! It’s never going to happen, and we both know it; I’d love for that person to just stop mentioning it. I’ve certainly made it clear I don’t want or expect it. Just drop it! Anyone relate?
