Firefighter enters floodwater to rescue a baby deer

Firefighters from the Madison Township Fire Department answered an emergency call when an auto fell into flooded water on Thursday afternoon. The driver of the auto that was in the water managed to get out of the auto safely and get to shore. Firefighter Captain Joe Sinclair entered the water using a safety rope with the assistance of his fellow firefighters to rescue a baby deer who was crying for help when the floodwater was taking the deer downstream. Captain Sinclair was able to save the baby deer and take the animal to the shore safe and sound. The baby deer was taken by medics to a local animal shelter after providing aid to the baby deer according to the firefighters.
