How long does it take to get a drivers license in your country?

You need to do some tests and pass them over here to get a full driver's license. Most people often start with provincial license that allows them to drive for 1 year until they get the full license. Some people can take practical and theory exams several times before they pass and get a full driver's license.

To pass my motorcycle license
I had to do a CBT
Then a theory test
After the theory test
More training on a big bike
And then Module 1
And then Module 2
Did it very quickly, over 3 weeks

Well what it means is motorcyclists are in theory going to stay safer as a result of the tests and training

On my 16th birthday I went to the DMV and took my written test. They graded it, and I passed. About thirty minutes later they took me out on a road test, and I passed that. The whole thing took two hours, and I had my license. I was ecstatic.

It seems like it takes quite a while to get a driver’s license, but here, first-time drivers need to attend a driving class before being given a student permit. After that, you can drive, but only with a licensed driver, for several months. Once you finish your lessons, you take both theoretical and practical exams, and you’ll find out right away if you passed. The license is issued after you pay the necessary fees.
