Have a buyer but nothing to buy

Since we put the house on the market there has been only one person to see it and I have no idea why. Perhaps the price turned people off from seeing it. Luckily, the one person that saw it wanted it.
That’s great news, however, I’ve not found any condo apartments that I’d want to live in, not to mention that the prices are crazy high as are the property taxes. I don’t know what to do. I doubt I will find anything and will have no choice but to put my stuff into storage and move in with my mom, which I really wanted to avoid.

It’s a three-store house with a full basement and a backyard. Since I am alone I don’t want to live in such a big place. Plus it’s far from transportation. Since I don’t drive I want to be closer to it.

@TheHorse He took all his stuff and left. I don’t really know where. He doesn’t keep in touch with me.

It’s proving to be difficult. I really don’t want to switch to looking in Brooklyn because I don’t want to live there.
It would’ve been easier if I could find a place first and then sell this house but in order to buy the new place this house has to be sold first as we’re using that money to buy the new property.

Just now
You can always hold out and see if you get a better offer for the house. There could be many reasons you're not getting a bite, and you just need to give yourself time.

I wish you the best of luck figuring out what to do. Why not rent an apartment? After my suggestion I saw this, Amazing how even renting is expensive but there is a one bed one bath for $1000 something a month. I suppose were it me it would be a tent in the middle Central Park,
