Sausage and mash for tea …..

I wanted something that is quick and easy for tea.
The Mister is home a day early and I want to spend time with him not in the kitchen.
So, sausage and mash it is.
We have Richmond sausage, I do think that they are the best. Mashed potatoes and maybe sweetcorn.
I think I shall have butter on my potatoes but The Mister likes gravy.
Sometimes I do onion gravy, but using onion powder as The Mister likes the taste of the onion but not the texture…..

My tastes in food are very different these days. I rarely eat much but for me I cannot stand Richmond sausages I prefer sausages with a bit more taste. Onion gravy is a must & cheesey mash & peas. Real comfort food!

The Meals on Wheels lunch today is Tomato Basil Chicken. Their chicken dishes are usually good.
