How do you do your groceries? / myLot

When it comes to grocery shopping, it is my task. But when it is about buying other things for the house like furniture, appliances, or paying the bills, all of those are my husband's responsibilities . I usually do the groceries once a week which is every Saturday morning right after breakfast. I most of the time go to a supermarket near our house. My husband and I also sometimes go for small grocery shoppings here and there once or twice a week. What about you?

I have now my own grocery store. A small one, but it does a good business. Grocery items needed in my family are supplied by my own shop. But before I have this shop, grocery items grocery shopping was done by my younger sister. She is no more. On the 10th of January, 2020 she suddenly expired at 5 a .m

Oh no.. I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to your sister. She had done a lot of things to help you for your groceries before she passed away.

Because my back was injured in a car accident, and I unfortunately live on the 3rd floor, I have come to the point of having my groceries delivered to my front door. No longer do I have to strain my back, thank goodness. Occasionally, they mess up, but they are quick to give a refund, and they are so much better than when I first tried, then stopped using them several years ago. So, I get groceries once a week. I’m never sure how much money I’ll have, so I buy groceries, by the week.

I'm so sorry about the car accident that injured your back. It must have been so frustrating when they messed up your orders, even though they were quick to give you a refund. So, now it seems that you are able to do your groceries by yourself. How long did it take for your back to be fully recovered?

@Ayu2026 I had surgeries and procedures for about 12 years before now just doing maintenance with pain management.

@AmbiePam Oh..it sucks. I can't imagine how you got through that for 12 years.But, yes thank goodness that the delivery system was there to help you with your groceries.
